The country’s electronics giant ‘Walton’ and the second-largest mobile phone operator 'Robi' are going to work together.
The top officials of the two groups expressed their firm hope to work together over several business issues in future.
A high officials' delegation led by Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director of Robi Axiata expressed the hope while visiting Walton Headquarters on Tuesday (August 1).
The top officials discussed over supplying 4G supported handsets at affordable prices, various types of apps, e-commerce network of Robi and Walton products.
S.M Shamsul Alam, Walton Group Managing Director, S.M. Ashraful Alam, Managing Director, Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited and Walton Group's Director S.M Mahbubul Alam welcomed the representatives of Robi Axiata Ltd. Meanwhile, Walton Director Raisa Sigma and Executive Director of Foreign Trade Monitoring Department, Nazrul Islam Sarker joined the programme.
Robi CEO Mahtab Uddin Ahmed said, "Walton and Robi are providing service in a same platform. Both of us established as local brand. If we work together in all possible sectors, both of us will be benefitted. Our customers will get benefit and overall the country will be benefited."
